Sculpture - Egyptology - Khafre, Pharaoh - 2500's B.C.

This is a statue of the Pharaoh "Khafre" who ruled sometime in the era of 2500 B.C. His father, Khufu, built the Great Pyramid. This statue is made of a black stone called Diorite. Khafre has a slight smirk on his face. Wonderful work.
